HomeAltis CDT III (company defunct)is powered by Philips CDM 12 Industrial. In need of plastic spilndle that stabelizes brass weight that sits atop CD. My CD transporter- Altis CDT III is sonic and mechanically perfect but has been rendered inoperable because the plastic spindle broke and will no longer support the brass weight that sits atop the CD. Can anyone help me find this piece or offer a solution?

I am probably much too late in answering your request, but I had the defunct part in question replaced and even improved in quality by a local clockmaker. He has the right tools and materials and the steady hand to machine such a small part. Now it is of solid metal and just works perfectly. |
