How do i get into loudspeker to reconnect ribbon cable between audio amps and front control panel

For some reason my home theatre active speaker system has began to hum/buzz at full volume. I have disconnected all inputs to speakers and cable to other speaker. Still faulty. Removing rear panel I found wiring very short and at this time I found the ribbon lose, not connected, I think to front control panel, I think this may be the problem. but I cannot get into speaker cabinet to try to reconnect ribbon cable. Anyone out there know how do I get my hands in.
