Just realized, haven't used the BETA deck consistently for months.
Bought it a few years back after it was used in a trade show only.

I also have a JVC DV 500, that needs new heads (records fine, play back is a bit rusty) Had an engineer service it a few months back. Says it's a good camera, just time to replace the heads and needs a new shotgun mic.
