brand new 40" Bravia wall mounted Tv.

this tv has not stayed on since delivered and installed on 6/27/06. It was bought as a refurbished tv which has supposed to have been certified as working perfectly. The picture is great but the set continually goes off after a short time. The customer service on this problem is pathetic and they sent me an upgrade for my installing No good.If they were aware of the need for the upgrade why didnt they fix it during refurbishing or send it with the TV. They requested the serial number before sending the upgrade indicating to me they were aware of the problem.customer service is a joke and are very defensive.
