I just found the problem. The relay tested good, but then I found on the bottom of the board where the transformer lead (positive lead) had a cold solder joint that had burned up. I re-soldered the lead back on and now my receiver powers up again, display and all. However, not I notice that my fan does not work. Will need to look into this a bit more.

I have the exact same model and problem. Does anybody have a schematic diagram on this? I suspect it's a bad relay. Any other ideas?
