help with my tv!

there was a storm in the philippines for a couple of days and I unplugged all my appliances including the JVC tv. problem was when i turned the tv on, it was not working anymore. is it possible for a lightning to pass to the antenna? how can i fix this problem. unfortunately i was not able to bring the tv set to the nearest jvc service center.
