HomeNo power to SONY DAV-C900 The electricty went out for a couple of hours and now this unit will not turn on. I have unplugged it to power strip. The on off button lights up but otherwise no power to the unit. Suggestions welcome. I am no expert.

I just took my sony dav-c900 for repair , since it would not turn on after a power failure. well, Sony , does not have replacement parts. The power switch burned out. It can not be repaired. so I was trying to find a refurbeshed one, but can not find one. I was told I have to buy a new one. I had this unit repaired twice before. The answer= BUY a new one, unless you find a new -refurbished unit.!! I am having the same problem. I am wondering if the unit is worth fixing or should I consider replacing it. The power light lights up but no other functions. What a bummer !! |
