Same problem with my camera-won't operate; shows this error code

I tried moving to a less humid location (was told EO4 means condensation on video heads) but so far no luck. Removed battery and re-attached-nothing. Ideas? A Best Buy technician says there's a class action lawsuit against JVC for this problem on their earlier cameras. Maybe if we all SCREAM loud enough to them they will foot the repair bill??
