picture in JVC 36" bowing

I have a Model AV-36DF74 TV and the picture shows a real horizontal BOW along the bottom of the picture, this is most evident when viewing letterbox movies, can a service technitian fix this problem with software of will i need to have it serviced with hardware upgrades? Someone told me they will need to replace the yolk?
