Re[7]: Convergence problems on AV-48WP30

Eric Posted Jul 04, 2006, in response to:Mostafa

Mostafa, the STK 392-150 is an upgrade from the STK 392-110. It will run a lot cooler than the 110. Not sure if JVC is using the 150 as an official replacement. Always best to use OEM parts and I've been using Hitachi CZ0043's for all my 110 replacements, and haven't had any complaints yet. There is also an STK 392-180 which I understand runs even cooler than the 150. I do not have any experience on this one so I can't comment. I have looked for the OEM version and I believe Sony makes them but they are quite expensive. For the time being I am sticking with the STK 392-150's. Do remember to check the one watt return resistors and replace them as necessary. Eric
