need to find out what fault codes mean on samsung vp-d31

I have a vp-d31 the problem i have is when loading the tape the screen was flashing D now it is flashing R and says to eject the tape on checking the manual D seems to be a machanical problem and R return to manafacture can any body HELP?? ( I do have a technical manual for this camcorder )
