Camera dropped in water for a moment. With new battery, it does not power up anymore. How do you fix it?

I removed the case to expose the inner parts and let it dry, but found very little traces of water. In fact there were only droplets in one location. Other than that the camera seems to have suffer no damage, nothing is corroded. Any ideas?
