HomeError Code I have JVC MINI DV Camcorder model # GR DVL805U, I am getting Error: "E04 Unit In Safegaurd Mode, Remove And Reattach battery ". I tired to connect with AC adapter, same error, If you remove Tape then Error disappears.

Were you able to get this resolved. I have the same camera and it just recently failed with an error (not the same as your error) but now appears to record but will not play back. Any suggestions? Are you aware of any service sites for troubleshooting? Thanks, Mike |
