Home | Previous messageHi I recently purchased GR-DF430 video camera. I used it about twice and started getting an E04- Unit in safeguard mode - eject tape message. I have tried switching (JVC) tapes but this doesn't help. I can get the camera to work for about two minutes and then I get the message again. Is there anything I can do? I own the camera for a little over 3 months so I no longer have a warrantee on labor. Do you have any suggestions? David

Contact JVC anyway. Even if you are out of warranty by a few weeks and sometimes a month or two, they will work with you --just ask them. Contact (800) 252-5722 and talk to a customer service representative. Make sure you have your proof of purchase information available. You have to prove when you purchased it. A credit card statement, purchase receipt or cancelled check will work usually. |
