parts number for vcr remote

I need the parts number for the original remote control unit for a JVC VCR model no HR-DX22ea. I got the VCR for free without a remote. i thought a universal remote would work it BUT I can't get it to do all functions and need the original remote number so I can either get a replacement OR get further assistance from the universal remote people. Without the remote I can't tune in the tv stations or set timer for recording. thanks
