Well, from the looks of the other postings I should be happy I got eight years out of my Sony 32". No warning, I had the mute on, back to the screen because I was playing an instrument at the time, and I herd a tiny pop and as the TV shut off. I didn't think anything of it at first, thought maybe the cat had stepped on the timer button. But nope, dead as a door nail. Anyone know if there is a reset button? Just wishful thinking I guess. Oh well ... :( Too bad, other than that haven't had any problem with the TV the enitre time I've owned it.
