  I have the same problem with my SONY MVC-CD300. A buzzing noise when you first turn it on and then the disc error message C:13:01. I've had the camera for 4 1/2 years and it has worked flawlessly until about 6 month ago when this problem started and it happens quite often. I do use the SONY Mavica CD-RW discs.
  
  What is causing this and how do I go about getting it repaired?

    I have a Sony Cd Mavica MVC-CD300 I read your Message Can you tell me what was the Solution to your Problem? I have the Same problem with my Camera! Thanks And have a great day!
