I have a problem with audio levels on my VO-9850's

I got in 4 Sony VO-9800's and 4 VO-9850's. Every machine has very quite loop through audio. It sounds like a bad amp or something? Any suggestions as to what could be wrong. It is consistent across all 8 machines. Thanks for any help. Mark
