JVC GR-D50 displays vertical lines on both LCD and viewfinder Please advise

JVC GR-D50 displays vertical lines on both LCD and viewfinder when I turn it on. I can still see a basic image through the vertical lines but only in silhouette. I have tried to record to tape and play back through PC but it also displays vertical lines. Please advise what problem could be?
