My LCD scree for my camcorder is touching if I want to use it and some times the screen will not one, if it does it will sometimes go off and on if I just try to adjust it

My LCD scree for my Panasonic camcorder is touching if I want to use it and some times the screen will not one, if it does it will sometimes go off and on if I just try to adjust it. PleaseI will like to know what the problem is and how I can rectify it.
