Jvc E03 unit in safeguard , what does it mean?

I have a JVC Gr-D200EK Camcorder, my camera was working just fine, but know it has an E03 code (unit in safeguard mode).I cant platback or record and keeps telling me to eject. Is there a way I can fix it myself. My camcorder is no longer under warranty.-Thanks
