Lens stuck in, won't extend though batteries are new. Screen says to turn off and on again, which doesn't work.

In past we have had problems with lens sticking in the "out" position and not retracting. After fiddling and fumbling it will usually retract. Now it is retracted and won't extend. Makes all the proper noises but wont' come out.
