CD STOPS FOR 1 SECOND WHENEVER IT WANTS TO!

Hi,I have an unusual problem whilst using the CD player,the system works O.K.,has no loose connections,and this fault only happens whilst playing CD'S - the sound will stop for a second,then continue and work perfectly. This fault is very intermitant,sometimes it doesn't do it for hours,then in 1 track it might 'stop' 8 or 9 times! The player is still guarenteed,but hopefully I won't have to have it removed..
