Homeneed help to trouble shooting this problem We were watching dish net work when a big thunder storm hit. The signal lost and we turned off the tv. About one hour later, when we turned on the TV again, the screen got fuzzy picture or double images. We have no clue and really need some help. Thanks!

SUGGESTION # 1----switch the set over to ANTENNA use and try an antenna on it and see if the picture looks better (assuming you're in a location to receive some sort of local tv channel "off air") SUGGESTION # 2-----Try another tv set on your sattelite receiver and see if the problem still persists on another set---if it does, your problem is in the sattelite receiver---if it doesn't, then the problem is in your big screen set. IF the problem IS in your big screen set---see a repair tech---it probably will be too major a problem to attempt fixing yourself or trying any other quick fixes via internet help. HOPE this gives you a little luck in at least "localizing" the problem PS: lightning hits can cause very extensive, expensive, and sometimes very illuding, time consuming and challenging "multiple" repair problems / headaches welcome to the "UNFORGIVING WORLD of SOLID STATE"--where all is lost in microseconds---HAIL VACUUM TUBES--FOREVER !!!! |
