SONY MAVICA MVC-FD81 Does not accept the battery

The camera when started keeps displaying the battery icon with a line (battery is week) and then stop working. Battery is good, bought a new one with exact same result. It seems it can't read the voltage of the battery, and they are fully charged. Any suggestion how to solve this problem? Thanks Alex
