Oh, forgot to mention that if you build a power supply it needs to produce at least 2 amps at 12 volts.. Dave

Did a little checking and guess I was wrong about the battery, it seems the NP-1 is the same battery as used in many Sony Betacam's and they are still available though not real cheap..Thought that slot looked kinda familiar :) Dave
