I have the exact same problem with mine. I have taped it up with electrical tape so friends don't touch it. I just use the remote now, thank god I haven't lost it. Also my right channel is dying and my cassette deck broke years ago. Basically it's the greatest stereo of all time. I have it hooked up as an amp to like two huge ass home theatre speakers it's great. One day I'll be able to afford an amp. Does anyone know how to set the radio stations? That is the one thing I've always hated.
