You are not the only one who could not figure it out., but I found a simple solution. When you un-power the radio (disconnect battery or radio fuse) the radio defaults to 1:00 o'clock when re-powered. Just disconnect the power and hook it back up at 1:00 o'clock sharp. It worked for me. Julius
