having problems JVC av-56wp74

When I hit the power button (remote or on the TV) power initially is applied, I hear some clicking (same as when it worked before), and then the power indicating light on the front starts blinking. No sound, no picture, no menus, and it doesn't react to hitting the power button or the remote. You have to unplug it to turn it off from this semi-on state
