i can't hook up my camcorder to my PC.all package drivers are all intalled but still i can't work out wi the video

i bought my camera 2 years ago,snopshots is working well.all the package drivers are installed.still the video is not working.maybe i need more additional driver to work it up.i'm using windows xp pro .can you help me to fix my problem.pls.all very much appreciated.......hamlet
