HomeReceiving Lens Cap Error after 10 months. After Ten months I am receiving a lens cap error, and for some reason I thought JVC was a good company for their video products.

They are and they will make good on it. Call JVC 800-252-5722, currently option 7 then 2 at this point follow the prompts for your camcorder model. There is a manufacturers defect on several models that they will fix for free. They do ask for the model and serial number. The lens cap is one of them. You only have to pay to ship to them, they will fix in 1-2 days and send back out immediately. You need to call first so they have a record of the return. |
