HomeLens Cap Error I have a JVC GRD22U mini DV camcorder. I have not used it many times, but after putting it up after last use, I am getting “remove lens cap” message, even after the message has been removed. I can record sounds, but the picture of course is just black. All other functions seem to operate just fine…just no picture. Is there any fix to this? Thanks,

Call JVC 800-252-5722, currently option 7 then 2 at this point follow the prompts for your camcorder model. There is a manufacturers defect on several models that they will fix for free. They do ask for the model and serial number. The lens cap is one of them. You only have to pay to ship to them, they will fix in 1-2 days and send back out immediately. You need to call first so they have a record of the return. |
