Considering selling this system. Need to know market value.

I have been told by one editor & by Avid that I should sell my meridien Express & get newer version that is more advanced & that does not have hardware (boards) that can break down. Avid offered 10 K on a trade in one year ago. This system has not been used in 4.5 years except to cut one 3 minute PSA. This is an Avid Express NT Elite Bundle 3.0. Should I sell & if so what is the value of it? Or is it acually somthing I should keep as it may be cheaply upgrade-able to a much better Avid?
