Re: Sony DSC MVC camera repairs

I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-V1 and it is having problems. It won't charge up. The charger connection feels "loose", so I'm not sure if its that or the battery.

Does this connection go bad on this model? Anybody else experience this?

  I haven't seen this on this model assuming the battery is good.

  I am having the same problem with my DSC-V1. Has anyone sent the camera out for repair? I was wondering if it could possibly be the charger. I don't want to waste my money on a new charger if that won't solve the problem. Any info on this problem and the solution would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Hi, I have a similar problem with my DSC V1. When connected to the power source, it works just fine! the moment you disconnect it, the camera won't even go on! Have you managed to fix your problem? Any suggestions on who might be the right person for such repairs? Thanks, Romilla.

      I am having the same problem with my DSC-V1. New battery and new charger did not help. anyone with experience getting this repaired?
