Need help diagnosing sony kp53hs10 big screen TV

I have a sony kp53hs10.It has a good picture(at back ground) and sound for each channel but on screen displayed some horizontal bars.Each bar has some hor. lines with black,red,green,and blue color separately.The bars were not shown on whole screen( so,that why I can see the picture).I tried to hooked up with VCR to check the signals but the set got this problem also.Please_help me to diagnose this problem.Thank you very much for your help.
