purchased 10/3/03 at Costco Maui. Lost box with instructions and CD

I mostly don't use this camera,and now I hear it running but it does not record. I dont see images on the screen. Also when trying to play back, I only see blue screen. Iwant to know what I'm doing wrong. This camera is practically new from hours of use point of view. Also would like to download tapes that I have into CDs HELP PLEASE Jose'
