I realise it is nearly a year since you posted your notice and it is a long shot, but I also need to replace or repair the amplifier / controler on my JVC MX70. Did you have any luck. JVC Austria says the part no longer exists. I really like this machine and don't want to loose it, so any info would be greatfully received thanks Adam
