my hitachi ax-m79 dvd player / theatre system display screen and all buttons aren,t working

my hitachi ax-m79 dvd player / theatre system display screen and all buttons aren,t working .The radio and dvd work using remote control but there is no display working at all ..neither does any of the buttons on the front of player work . fuse in plug and the 3 internal fuses are all fine ..i,ve checked the continuity of wiring from the p.c.b to the front panel and that was fine and both plugs are fully seated correctly..... any ideas anybody or does anyone have a circuit diagram for this model please .... hoping there is somebody clever enough out there to help me !
