how to fix

Hello, I have a JVC Compact VHS camcorder model GR-SXM260U. I left the camcorder on with the LCD panel open and on, while charging. Next thing i noticed is that nothing appears on the LCD panel. The camcorder works perfectly and is almost brand new. What can I do to fix the problem?
