HomeI lost my owner's manual and want to get info on proper installation. I've had this receiver packed away for 5 years and need to find out how to properly hook it up. I have a cable box and CD/DVD player. I want to use surround sound speakers (4 in ceiling and powered sub woofer - TV for center speaker). Can you help?

hi sony, i have a sony str-d1011s receiver and whenever i turn the receiver on the protector signal comes on prohibiting me from operating the receiver. What must I do to elimnate this protector signal and operate the receiver. Can you tell me anything about this model? How old it is and anything else that you may know. I just bought one for $20.00 second hand and was trying to find out what it was really worth. thanx |
