Need help ... having horizontal lines on pictures taken with Sony DSC P92 ...

I have a P92. It worked well before. But, recently, it starts not working properly. The pictures I took have horizontal lines. I heard that it is a fixable issue of the camera. So, I am posting this message and hope to know more info.
