I had this same problem with the condensation error. I took it apart and behind where the battery snaps on there is a capacitor that holds a charge to maintain memory. There is a harness with 10 black wires and 1 red that plugs into the main circuit board, I unplugged it for a few seconds and plugged it back in and the problem went away.
I wonder if there is a way to take the battery off and drain the capacitor without disassembly, maybe by hooking a load up to the battery terminals. Just a thought I might try next time.
I tried every other "fix" out there and hod no luck until I tried this.
