HomeI had not used my camera in about a year. I plugged it in to charge overnight, and now when I turn it on, it says "LENS CAP", and the screen stays dark. Of course, I have removed the "Lens CAP".

if JVC don't fix the problem i will sold you a CCD image sensor around 40 dollar excl shipping Rob your image sensor or CCD assy is defect I have replace a lot of sensors for this series Regads, Rob It's CCD needs replacement.
