I have the C:13:01 ERROR and can't access my photos.

I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-P93, the memory card is full of photos I took in Tibet, but I can't access them. When I turn the camera on it just says Memory stick error C: 13:01. Is there any way to retrieve the photos? I really don't want to lose them. I tried re-inserting the memory stick several times, it doesn't seem to work. I am afriad to re-format in case I lose them.
