TV set will not power-up

JVC set working fine since purchase in '99, no probs of any sort. But... we moved it from one location to another and now it will not power-up. Power shows at mains and at fuse holder, fuse is fine, just dead. I Do not have a schematic. Tricks, tips ??? short of kissing the beast to wake it ??
