Hi, here are the instructions: Unscrew all the little screws on the camera, but be careful, make a list for the location of the screws because they are in different sizes. After that open the camera on half, and near the thumb switch (TAPE, OFF, A, M) you will see a connector. Unplug the connector and wait for 15 minutes, that should be enough for hard reset. Plug the connector back, and put the screws back. Everything should be OK now. After I've done this I didn't had any problems until now, so I hope it will work for you. Also always put this small silicate gel bags in the bag where you keep the camera. After I fix the camera, I received how to fix this another way so maybe you can try this first. Re: JVC GR-D31U condensation problem mike - 7th Nov 2005 17:32 YOu should put the video camera in the oven at the lowest setting for about a half hour. This will dry it out completely. Take the battery out and the film also before doing this. It worked for me. Make sure the oven is at it's lowest setting, mine was 170. Good luck!! Also you can try this link http://www.hdtv-receiver.com/?Operation=CustomerReviews&ItemId=B0000899QP&ReviewPage=2 Good luck
