Re[2]: E04 Unit in safeguard mode

It worked for me also. I bought a new battery, and got the same message. Ejecting the tape reveled it had looped up a little. I had to remove the battery before it would allow the tape to be re-inserted, but it worked. Thanks for the heads up!
