HomeTried New battery, but still camera only works when plugged in. It is a GR-D30U Ser. No. 078U0977 The battery is not working- I just puchased a new one that does not work either, nor did the original battery work. The camera works perfectly well when plugged into the power chord, but cannot turn on when unplugged and battery securely fitted in.

I have the same problem on a JVC GR-D73U. I posted the problem on another board and will let you know as soon as I find out something. The battery will charge and holds voltage but the camera will not work with it connected to it. There is voltage at the camera connection port for the charger if the battery is connected. Wish us luck! |
