Arden.....I do have one Convenience Center remaining (I ended up buying 2 ) and this convenience center has a new Sony Tuner and works perfectly, except it does not respond to the remote control....You have to use the TV Monitor's controls .......This is my original box, which I have spent 220.00 on with our area Sony Authorized Repair Center - They repaired the original problem (scan lines or horizontal lines in the picture), but when I brought it home I found out about the remote not working...I am told that there is an inexpensive component in the box that processes the remote signal - they may have left it unplugged, or it would have to be replaced. if you want the remote to work .(and who doesnt ?) The repair guy wanted to argue rather than repair, which is when I decided to locate a new box..... Thanks for your interest.....let me know - you could probably use the remote controller from your box ? to repair this one ? Would like to get $100.00 with US shipping.
