LCD is black when trying to film, but also LCD is working when in position Play with old film Tape, I mean is not a problem od LCD.

I have the JVC camcorder model GR-D33, and just recently i turned it on, and it says lens cap. My lens cap isnt on and i get absolutely no color on the screen, it's just pure black. I know it's not the screen, because it can play my tapes. Can anyone help me out?
